Wednesday Oct 07, 2015
Erin Hogue is a professional photographer who lives in Whistler, BC who's work has been featured in Snowboarder Magazine, Transworld Snowboarding, Transworld Snowboarding, The Ski Journal and Pleasure to list a few. In this episode we cover Erin's journey into sports photography and how she's been able to turn her passion into a career.
This episode certainly has an unintentional theme... Erin has had to learn to silence her critics. By following her own intuition and passion, Erin has turned her life into a constant adventure. She consistently gets to ride up mountains on her snowmobile, explore beautiful terrain and photographs some of the world's best skiers and snowboarders.
We start the podcast by digging into why Erin chose photography. At the midway point, we jump into resourcefulness and what Erin has done to make her photo career work. Near the end, we get into the day to day life of a photographer through her trip to Alaska and wrap up by getting back into silencing your critics.
